Pregnancy doesn’t mean that moms-to-be have to miss out on all the fun; they just have to be careful about how they spend their pre-pregnancy time.

Here are a few things women can do this summer while pregnant and beat the heat:

Swim in the pool

Swimming is regarded as the safest form of exercise for most people, including those who are pregnant or have other disabilities, due to its low impact. Take a dip in the pool, grab your favourite maternity swimwear and enjoy.

Yoga class

Yoga during summer helps pregnant women Reduce stress, depression and anxiety. The combination of deliberate movement and structured breathing can help alleviate depression symptoms. Beginning prenatal yoga in any trimester can help you relax and stay positive during labor.

Picnic time

Who says picnicking in summers is a bad idea? Make sure you have a shade though. There’s relaxing and eating, as well as mocktails for mom. It can refresh your mind while also allowing you to have fun with your friends/family. Do not forget to wear a white maternity short dress or and easy-breezy maxi for a perfect picnic day. Photos please.

Evening walk

Evening walks can make you feel better because of the cool air that makes it breezy. It also keeps muscles strong, which helps to lessen back pain. It keeps or improves your fitness level during pregnancy. It exercises your heart, lungs, and blood vessels to improve your overall cardiovascular health.

Catch up with friends

It’s quite difficult to make time to catch up with loved ones who don’t live nearby once the baby arrives.

It’s now or never! If you’re bored and don’t get enough human interaction, try setting up phone dates with your mother, sister, bestie, grandmother, and an old co-worker. If it’s actually too hot, prefer house dates. Order ice cream.

Beauty sleep

Allow yourself to sleep in. Get a good night’s sleep. Nap after nap. This luxury will be gone once the baby arrives. So why not utilise this time?
