PREGNANT AT CHRISTMAS- WHAT TO EAT AND DRINK?

We incur that it is ‘This time of the year’ which used to be filled with parties, sweets, booze, grooving and ho ho holidays… But being pregnant doesn’t mean that all the fun part is checked off the list. Chicmomz is reporting live to make your Christmas party fun for you and your baby.

Cocktails-0 ; Mocktails-1

Grapefruit lime Mockgarita, Blueberry Chia Crush, Mango Mint Quencher, Pina Mocklada and the list goes on. These mocktails have a fruit-based juice substitute that happily makes you a part of the party clan.  So I raise my glass to all of you brave females out there.

The Sea Food

Fishes will come swimming to your rescue to provide the best of nutrition you can attain from seafood during charismas parties. They are a great vitamin source for minerals and vitamins for you and your little one. The best and safest options for you will be smoked trout and salmon but darlings, do avoid oily fish.

You can have peanuts in pregnancy

Peanuts are safe to eat during pregnancy, according to the most recent recommendations. There’s no conclusive proof that eating peanuts while pregnant increases the likelihood of your kid acquiring an allergy. Nuts are high in protein and make a great nutritious snack for both you and your kid. Just keep the salty and sweet ones to a minimum.

Nutrition and warm

Sweet potatoes are high in beta-carotene, a carotenoid that is converted to vitamin A in the body and is necessary for cell and tissue development. Vitamin A also aids in the improvement of eyesight and immunity.

Furthermore, all those rich meals may wreak havoc on your heartburn while you’re expecting, so don’t overdo it. Rather than eating large meals, eat small, frequent meals.

Hope you have a lovely and very merry Christmas!
